{Katie – Marvelous in My Monday}
I love long weekends. Our relaxing school-free Monday is just what we all needed. Today, we started packing, played games, watched movies, and so much more. I seriously love pajama days.
Saturday morning was a busy one for us, we had our carpet in our bedroom removed to help Steve with his dust mite allergy. So, right now we are living on plywood; it’s not very nice on my feet, but by the end of the week we will be walking on hardwood floors (hopefully). I will take some pictures this week and share them with you. Now, that we are updating our floors in our bedroom I am so ready to finish the rest of our room, but there are so many other rooms I would rather do first (my bedroom is usually my last priority when it comes to decorating).
After cleaning our room, dusting, re-dusting, organizing and such I made us one of our favorite dinners; baked orange chicken. Seriously, it’s delicious and way too easy. I will share the recipe this week.
We woke up Sunday morning and had a perfect Valentine’s day breakfast with our little loves. I have this new dairy-free pancakes recipe I can’t wait to share with you; they are delicious, even Steve loves them.
In the afternoon we took our girls to watch a gymnastics meet between Michigan and Michigan State and had a blast. I am so glad that our girls are at such fun age. They loved watching the college girls perform so much that they came home and put on a performance of their own. Oh our little gymnasts are too cute.
