{Linking up with Amanda, Thursday’s are for Thinking Out Loud}
1. I love feeling sore. 🙂 I took Tuesday off, but I was feeling pretty good yesterday and today so I did some upper and lower body Blogilates videos and boy do they have me feeling sore. Best. Feeling. Ever.
2. We have another nice and relaxing weekend; I can’t wait!! We literally have nothing planned except Sunday school and church. The best part is our weather here looks AMAZING; okay at least Friday and Saturday are perfect, but hey what do you expect?
3. Our first week back to school really kicked my booty. I realized I am ready for summer vacation. I am to simply just be with my girls. I don’t want a schedule or a plan for anything. Just enjoy life.
4. McKayla has all of a sudden started giving us a difficult time falling asleep. We have no idea why. Once she is asleep she sleeps great, but she just doesn’t want to go to sleep. Ahhhh!!! I am not sure what to do. I think we may just have to ride it out. Honestly I think it’s just a phase, but not an easy one.
5. I thought I had a dress for brother and sister-in-law’s wedding, but I don’t think I do. So, I have been searching high and low and am getting nowhere. If you come across any cute mint cocktail dresses please let me know. (Sarah said we could wear mint or pink, but I have a ton of pink and thought I would go with mint.)
6. My parents 35th anniversary is on Sunday and they are on vacation in Disney World. I think it is the best; so sweet. They have taken all of us there for years, now they can finally have a trip designed just for them. They are such an inspiration. The love they share after all these years is a beautiful thing. I can only be so blessed. Good think I have an amazing hubby to spend a lifetime with me.
7. I went to my first Wildtree Party last night and at first I wasn’t so sure about the whole thing. My sister-in-law was hosting one so I knew it would be fun to hang out with the ladies, but I just didn’t know about all the meal prepping. As you know I don’t meal prep on a regular basis so meal prepping for 20 meals (I split the 10 meals into 20) was a little scary. On Sunday I took the girls to Costco to begin prepping for the party. I bought about 25 pounds of chicken and ground beef. Once McKenzie and McKayla went down for a nap all the chopping, sorting, and labeling began. Wednesday evening was here I packed my meat into my cooler and headed out. Once, I arrived at Julie’s house the atmosphere was great. It was simply a fun girls night with a little marinating. Basically, all we did was add oil and spices to our already cut and bagged meat. After I arrived home I put all but one of my bags into my deep freezer. So, now I have 20 meals ready to go. At first I thought it felt like a lot, but I know I am going to be happy when I have a busy evening with girls. We haven’t had a meal yet, I will let you know how they taste.
8. Tomorrow is supposed to be 70 degrees here. I CANNOT wait to get outside with my girls.
