Thinking Out Loud Thursday # 11

Since, it’s Thursday I am going to get right to it. Thanks Amanda for hosting.

Thinking-Out-Loud (2)

1. Sophia and Isabella’s birthday party is a month away and I have so much to do. Starting with invitations. I ordered a picture file from etsy, but we still need to print them out, address them, stamp them, and send them out. And that is just the start of all the planning. Oh my!!

2. Two weeks after Sophia and Isabella’s party is McKenzie and McKayla first birthday party. We are hosting the twins party at my parents house which will make it easier, but it’s still two parties in no time. I will fill you in on the details as we get closer.

3. I called and made an appointment with an ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) for McKayla. She simply doesn’t seem to be getting better. She is still not sleeping well and is very stuffy. I am not sure what the doctor is going to say, but I feel as though we need to do something.

4. My brother comes to visit for the weekend. We are so excited. We love spending time with Uncle Fran. Just the other week Sophia said she missed him.

5. We have a fun weekend planned. Not too busy, but busy enough. When the weather is nice it is so much easier to get our of the house. My birthday is Tuesday so we have a few celebrations for it this weekend. Oh how I love birthdays. And this is just the start of our many birthdays.

6. Have I told you lately our pool opens this weekend? I can’t wait and neither can Sophia and Isabella. Sophia has already decided her reward from her behavior chart is going to be going to the pool. So, on Saturday that is the plan.

7. Today, I attempted to take some pictures of McKenzie and McKayla for their invitations. I want to put a current picture of them on it and one from when they were first born. Not an easy task. McKayla is definitely easier to photograph then McKenzie. McKenzie simply doesn’t want to sit still.

That was my cue, no more pictures!!

8. McKayla has been waking up before 6am for the past week. Yes, I am already awake, but that is supposed to be my time. I really thought I could have one hour from 5-6 in the morning. That’s what I get for thinking. 🙂

9. I have bunco tonight. Once, a month a bunch of my neighborhood ladies get together to play. It is a much needed girls night.

10. Saturday we are 12 weeks away from Vegas. Whoo hoo. It can’t come quick enough. I am more then ready to get away for a long weekend.

Okay I just want to say this is the first post since McKenzie and McKayla were born that a post has gotten out in the afternoon. Don’t ask how I managed this one; just go with it. 🙂

  1. Hi there! I’m visiting from the TOL Thursday link up (my first one). O MY goodness your girls are adorable!!!! I was just shopping yesterday for birthday gift for. One year old girl and saw that exact shirt!

  2. 😆 I totally noticed that you posted a little earlier today! No questions 😉 And your girls are absolutely adorable… I honestly couldn’t imagine planning two birthday parties that close, though… especially with all the ideas on Pinterest these days! I get ridiculously overwhelmed whenever I look on there, and I can’t even imagine how much crazier things are going to get when I have my own kids!

    • Haha!! Yes, it is so overwhelming and there is so much pressure to have the perfect party these days. I will do my best the parties will be far from perfect, but what can you do? All I think about is I get all my girls’ parties done in one month and then I can relax the rest of the year. 🙂

We have those pink skirts as well. Too cute! My guess is the ENT will want to put a tube in her ear. If that’s the case, don’t freak! It is seriously the easiest procedure and only takes like 15 minutes. A little groggy for a day or so after but that’s it!

    • I love them!! Thank you, it is so scary to think about your little one getting surgery, but you make me feel much better. I am going to call a chiropractor tomorrow and see what they say. I simply want to do the best I can for my girls. Thank you for the recommendation.
