Happy Wednesday everyone, which mean it’s time to talk all things food.
I thought today I would touch a little on indulging. For me no food is off limits. I don’t have any foods that I call “bad” food. I eat everything in moderation. For the most part my diet consists of nutritious food, but I definitely have my fair share of indulgences. Yesterday, was no exception.
Breakfast 7:30
Over the weekend we made one of my favorite breakfast meals, Oven Baked French Toast. It is delicious and there’s usually leftover, easy to heat up the east day. Nice and quick breakfast option on school days.
Snack 10:00
I had a bowl of my favorite oatmeal.
Lunch 12:00
A turkey wrap with cheese and hummus on a new favorite spinach wrap. I also had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on a FoldIt by Flat Out.
Snack 2:00
Pre-Dinner Treat 4:00
My mom brought over some amazing cupcakes. She brought me a peanut butter and chocolate one, always and forever my favorite combo.
Dinner 6:00
Last week, I talked about my wonderful neighbors. They are taking turns making us dinner twice a week. Last night one of my neighbors brought over homemade mac and cheese with chicken sausage. It was delicious.

How do you indulge?
- What was your favorite food from this week?
Your cupcake looks yummy! I love PB and chocolate anything! If I’m craving something sweet, I allow myself a little indulgence here and there. But, with this pregnancy, all I have been craving lately are sweets!
I do too. Peanut butter and chocolate are the perfect combo. 🙂
I love that you don’t have any “bad” food, just everything in moderation…that’s my belief too. I have a very large sweet tooth, in fact, I’m eating ice cream right now 🙂 But I need the calories and fat for nursing two babies! And I do looove anything chocolate/peanut butter, yum! My favorite food from this week was the pumpkin oatmeal I made this morning. I love pumpkin anything especially this time of year!
I have a major sweet tooth too. Oh I love ice cream!! Pumpkin oatmeal sounds amazing I am going to have to give it a try.
Those peanut butter cracker sandwiches were a favorite from my childhood. The artificial-tasting cheese ones too! So good.
I like your thoughts on indulging! For me indulging is less about food and more about tv time. Haha.
I love the p eanut butter crackers, but I have to be careful not to eat the whole box. 🙂
What awesome neighbors to be taking such great care of you all! The cupcakes look delicious! Peanut butter and chocolate is one of my hubby’s favorites too! I always sneak a bite or two 🙂
They are the best!! Sometimes a bite or two is all you need.
