What I Ate Wednesday # 38

What I Ate Wednesday # 38

Happy Wednesday everyone. I can’t believe another week has come and gone. McKayla and McKenzie are five weeks old. Oh my!! Time goes by so fast. I can’t believe we are never going to have babies in our house again. It is surreal to think these two little loves are our last. We are moving on from this stage of our lives. It is bitter sweet.

Meal #1 – 8:30am

Greek Yogurt Waffles

WIWW 39 - greek yogurt waffle

Meal # 2 – 11:30

I have been eating my boring combo of a turkey wrap and half a peanut butter and jelly with crackers.

WIWW 38 - turkey wrap

`SnackΒ – 2:00

WIWW 38 - go lean

WIWW 36 - fruit

Meal # 3 – 6:00

It was Steve’s golf night and my mom and I didn’t feel like cooking so we decided to order subs. I had a 12 inch turkey sub. I don’t normally eat a 12 inch, but I knew I needed to make sure I ate enough yesterday.

WIWW 38 - subway turkey sandwich

Dessert

Okay, I might have eaten one of these cookies after each meal today. My father-in-law made these for us and they are amazing.

WIWW 38 - Chocolate Chip Cookie

WIWW 38 - ice cream

Throughout the day I had a few glasses of milk. I have been craving milk lately. I seriously could drink it all day long.

I craved milk a lot throughout my pregnancy and afterward for a couple months too! I think it’s the extra protein and calcium we need for our growing babes!

Same here! I only had a few weeks of milk cravings during pregnancy, but after my son was born I think I was craving milk (and reverse chocolate chip cookies) like a mad woman!

    • I think you are right. Our bodies know what we need. πŸ™‚

You’re a smart lady for eating that foot long! I swear sometimes I could eat like four sandwiches. πŸ˜‰ I can’t believe the girls are five weeks old already. That seems crazy!!

    • I totally agree with you about the four sandwiches. πŸ™‚ The foot long was a lot for me, but I knew I needed it!!

It is crazy, I am sad thinking they aren’t newborns anymore.
