I don’t know if you remember, but I wrote a birthday letter to Isabella on her birthday. So, since today is our sweet Sophia’s birthday I have written her one as well.
Dear Sophia,
I can’t believe it has been four years since you came into our lives. I will never forget the day you were born. You were so tiny. Daddy and I were fell in love the moment we saw. You were our first daughter and we couldn’t believe you were ours.
You and I have such a special relationship. You are my buddy and we are so much a like; sometimes it’s scary. You love to be my little helper and I love having you with me.
You love to snuggle with Mommy and Daddy. I love having our “Mommy and Sophia” time. You love to tell me you need Mommy time and that melts my heart. I love Sophia time too.
You and I love to be together no matter what. We are always trying to spend time together. You are my mini me and I love it. I love having you with me. I couldn’t ask for a better daughter.
You love to pick out your own clothes and you usually choose to wear a dress. You love to dress “fancy”. You also love to match with your sister. It is adorable when you ask me to put Bella in the same dress.
You are an amazing big sister. You love to play with Isabella. You love to teach her how to play big girls things. The two of you could play Barbies and dress-up all day long. I love listening to Isabella and you giggle and play together. The way you and Bella are with each other truly touches my heart. I am so blessed to have you and Isabella. Your three sisters are so blessed to have you in their lives. I know you will always take care of them and I know they will always take care of you. The four of will be there for each other through thick and thin.
You are my cautious little girl. You are my rule follower. I love that I never need to tell you something twice. You don’t like to break the rules and you make sure no one else breaks them either. You are wonderful at keeping us all in line. I love that I can trust you to do the right thing.
You have an amazing heart. You are a kind and caring person. You love to tell the people you love how much you love them. You are always giving us kisses and hugs. You never like to see people sad and you always try to make them feel better. You are a caretaker and love to take care of people. I love that you are so nurturing. You are going to be amazing at helping me taking care of the twins. You are so excited for them to arrive. You told us you wanted them to be your birthday present. We told you they will be here any day.
You are so smart. You are going to do amazing things in life. You will be able to do anything you want when you grow up. You always tell me you want to be a mommy like me. That makes me feel so happy. Whenever you tell me that I know staying at home is the best decision I could have ever made. Thank you for loving me with all your heart.
We know you and your daddy have a special relationship. You love to giggle and goof around with your daddy. When he walks into the room your eyes light up. You love when he comes home from work and picks you up and give you a giant hug. You always know how to get your daddy to take a break and snuggle. You tell him that you need Daddy time and he just melts into your hand. You love when Daddy throws you on the bed and lifts you up so you can touch the ceiling. You giggle so much when you play with Daddy. I love that sound. Daddy loves you too.
