Fourth of July is such a fun time of year. Not only do we have quite a few birthdays to celebrate, but we enjoy going to our annual BBQ and fireworks with Mimi, Papa, Auntie Ade, and Gigi (maybe one day Uncle Fran, Aunt Sarah, and Baby Maizy will join us). Each year, as the girls get easier, it gets even more enjoyable, but I must admit I do miss snuggling my babies watching the fireworks (Isabella was only 2 weeks old when she first went).
This year we had plenty of time to run and play on the golf course and it was so much fun. Watching my girls play, laugh and have fun is the best thing in the world.
We started the evening off at Mimi and Papa’s house then headed to Indianwood for dinner and fireworks. Sophia and Isabella of course wanted to ride in the golf cart with Papa, but the babies rode with me in the car.
I really think one of my girls’ favorite things about the fireworks might be all the goodies they get, glow necklaces, balls, beads, etc.
I can’t even begin to tell you how blessed my girls are to have grandparents that love to run around and play with them (you will never find them just watching they love to join in on the fun). Mimi even took her shoes off; best Mimi ever!!
Oh how we love our Auntie Ade. She is the best!! Whenever we are together she is my second set of hands always stepping in to help with my girls. We love having her around. Now we just need her to stop working so much so she can be with us ALL the time. 🙂
After playing for a long time we got comfy on our blankets to watch the fireworks and Papa was definitely the best seat in the house.
Sophia is such a big girl, I can’t take it.
Snuggles with Auntie are the best. Our Isabella was starting to get tired. Towards the end of the show she said her eyes could stay open.
All I wanted was a picture of my girls and me. Each time we tired someone wasn’t there then finally we got it, but this was the best we could do. Oh well, at least we got it!! My girls are my life and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I love looking back all all my pictures from our days together, they always bring a smile to my face.
That was just Friday night of our weekend. I will share more about the rest of it tomorrow. If I kept going this post would go on and on. Have a wonderful Tuesday!!
