WIAW # 128 + The Last Day of School

Another school year has come and gone. I can’t believe we will have a kindergartener and a second grader. Where did my babies go?

I’m not sure I am ready for two of my girls to be gone all day every day. Just thinking about it makes me sad. Right now, I am going to enjoy our summer together and make the best of these next couple months.

We can’t wait to spend our days at the pool, beach, park, etc. We are going put together a summer must-do list, it will consist of all the things we just can’t miss!

I love being with my girls, I am excited to spend each and every day with them this summer. These truly are the days we will remember forever. I am beyond blessed to be able to live this life.

WHAT-I-ATE-WEDNESDAY-NEW-BUTTON-PEAS-AND-CRAYONS (2)

Since, it’s Wednesday let’s talk about all things food. A look into my day of eating..

Meal # 1

Easy protein pumpkin pancakes made with 40 grams FlapJacked protein pancake mix, 1/4 teaspoon each of cinnamon, baking powder, and vanilla extract, 20 grams pumpkin and some water. Mix it all together and cook on medium heat. These are delicious and filling.

Snack # 1

Strawberries, grapes and 1 tablespoon cashews. Great mix of carbs and fats.

Meal # 2

A salad made with beef taco meat, lettuce, and sauce. I also had a few tortilla chips.

Snack # 2

I enjoyed a small piece of Isabella’s funfetti birthday cake. It was delicious and guilt free. Food shouldn’t be labeled good or bad it’s just food. Fuel your body with what it needs, but remember to enjoy yourself too.

Meal # 3

Before going to the pool I had a few slices of turkey to hold me over until dinner.

Meal # 4

For dinner I had a taco made with crockpot salsa chicken, cheese, and lettuce.

Snack # 3

I ended the night with 2 teaspoons almond butter and half a banana.

Currently I am eating on average 1500-1900 each day with a marco count of 40% carbs, 30% Fat and 30% protein. This way of eating is certainly a lifestyle and I love it!!
