21 Day Fix Extreme – Just the Beginning

Home / 21 Day Fix Extreme / 21 Day Fix Extreme – Just the Beginning

Tomorrow, I am starting the 21 Day Fix Extreme and I am so excited, but also a little nervous. I am not worried about the workouts (I love to push myself and I think these workouts are going to be great), but I am worried about the meal plan. I try to eat healthy about 80% of the time, but for the next 21 days I am definitely going to give it my all. I will tell you I am sure I am going to have the occasional treat, but I am definitely going to try to stick to it as much as possible. I really want to see what my body can do if I am a little more disciplined on my diet.

I will tell you I am not going to do the extreme plan exactly as described. I am going to allow some of the foods from the original 21 day fix (the extreme eating plan is much more strict and that is just not my style). As you know I am a huge believer in living a healthy lifestyle, so I don’t want to start something I cannot stick with. I want these next 21 days to jump start me into eating more veggies and protein. I truly believe this is exactly what I need. A few things that aren’t on the extreme plan, but are on the original plan are:

  • kasha waffles (I love these as a snack with almond butter)
  • pancakes (there may be a morning I want a pancake; I will make sure to count it as a carb (yellow), but I am going to have it if I want one)
  • wine (I will allow a glass of wine here or there)
  • chocolate (again this will be allowed occasionally, but I will count it as my carb (yellow).

I will not be drinking shakeology. I love the protein powder (Healthier, Fitter, Faster) I currently use and I know it’s all natural and healthy, so I am sticking with it.

I am going to start with the 1,500-1,800 calorie eating plan. I am going to see how I feel on this one and I may play around with it and have to jump up to the next level. We will see; I want to make sure I am eating enough calories.

Well, here it goes I will check in with you tomorrow. I can’t wait to fill you in on how the first day goes. Throughout this journey I will be sharing with you my grocery list, as well as, my meals.
