What I Ate Wednesday #9

What I Ate Tuesday!

We had a pretty relaxing day yesterday. Besides dance for Sophia, we just cleaned and hung out. Sophia was so excited to be back at her ballet class. We had to miss it last week since she was sick and with the holidays she hasn’t been in a few weeks. But the costumes are ordered and they are so adorable. I seriously can’t believe my baby is old enough to be in a recital.

Breakfast – 7:30am

Sophia wanted pancakes with sprinkles. So, I made my quick and easy pancakes. She had sprinkles and I had regular. Since they are so light and fluffy I had four. :)

Lunch – 12:00

For some reason I was really in the mood for breakfast. So, I had a few eggs whites, turkey sausage, and wheat toast.

Snack – 3:00

I love oatmeal, especially on a cold day.

Dinner – 5:30

I made homemade meat sauce over the weekend, so we were in the mood for spaghetti. :) I promise I will get my recipe out soon. It’s so easy and delicious.

Dessert – 7:30

Steve, surprised us and brought us home our favorite cupcakes from Just Baked. I love their peanut butter and chocolate one. But let me tell you the are so decadent that you can’t have them all the time and you wouldn’t want to. It was a special treat for all of us. :)

What are some treats you only save for every once in awhile?

    That pasta looks scrumptious!

A treat I save for every once in a while is probably a single serving microwave cake. I save that for those days when I feel “blaaaaah.” :P

YUM! Lots of great looking eats! Aiden loves pancakes, I’ve been trying to add in fruits and such to spruce it up a bit (which I never did or cared to do before being a mommy) he totally eats it up.

    • You are so right about adding in fruits and such before becoming a mom. I defiantly look at food and nutrition so much differently now.
