Product Review – Shrinkx Hips

I am so thrilled to be able to try this product and fill you in on all the details. After I had my first two girls I always debated about getting a Shrinkx Hips binder, but never did. Well, this time around I knew I had to have one. Since, I was having twins I knew everything was going to get more stretched out then ever before.

A measuring tape and a chart are in the package for keeping track of your progress.

I have been loving my Shrinkx Hips.

Here are a few of my tips for making Shrinkx Hips work for you:

  1. At first it may be uncomfortable, but it gets easier to wear (so don’t throw in the towel). Remember if you want it to help shrink your hips it needs to apply some pressure. Don’t give up in the first few uses. Once you have been wearing it for a few days you will love it and you may actually miss it when not using it. My hips actually feel too loose when I am not wearing it. At home I have it on all the time; I love the support it gives me.
  2. After giving birth to the twins my hips were very sore and it caused some pain to walk and stand up. When I wear the Shrinkx Hips binder, my hips do not hurt. I think the binder has helped my hips get back into alignment quickly. They don’t feel as loosey goosey. 🙂
  3. When I put it on and get it adjusted to the correct amount of pressure I make sure whenever I take it off not to remove the side velcros, that way I know the next time how tight to put it. Once you begin to wear the Shirnkx Hips you will notice that when you find the perfect place to secure it you don’t want to forget where that was. So, the best thing I can say is only undo the middle velcro and only use the side velcros when needed to adjust to your ever shrinking hips.

Fun Fact – Since giving birth two weeks ago I have lost 2 inches; I am one inch away from my pre-pregnancy hip measurement. Even though I am not down to my pre-pregnancy I was able to wear my regular jeans. I attribute this to my hips getting smaller fast from wearing the Shrinkx Hips.

So neat! Have you worn any kind of tummy wrap at all? I’m looking into buying one for after my girls are born. I know my tummy is going to need some serious help!

I’ve been wondering about these too! No idea if they’re worth the money or not?

      • So far, I think it really has made a difference in my hips. First, it helped my hips feel not so sore and gave them support, second my hips seem to being going down quite quickly. I don’t remember my hips getting small this fast with either of my girls. I think it’s worth the money. Hope that helps. 🙂

    • It is much more than I expected; it really does it’s job. 🙂 I have two that I have been wear and switching back and forth between. I have been using Tauts Belly Wrap by Brooke Burke and the new Shrinkx Belly Binder. I am working on reviews about both these products as we speak. 🙂

Hi, I have been following your blog since you for a little while and am loving it. I bought hip shrinx and belly wrap since I saw that you got such great results. I was wondering how many hours you wore each one ever day? Did you wear them together all the time? I had my baby just a few days ago and have benn wearing the belly and hip shrinkx all day and then taking off the hip one, but leaving the belly one on at night. Did you sleep on the hip shrinkx? Sorry for all the questions, but it seemed liked whatever you did worked awesome. Thanks in advance!

    • I am so glad. I would say I wore it about 12 hours a day. I wouldn’t wear them out of the house, but we didn’t leave much with twins. I did like sleeping in the belly one and I sometimes slept in the hip one I found it easier to get my hours in. The hips one was definitely not as easy to wear all the time, but I did. I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions. I am sorry it took me so long to get back; life is crazy.
