Santa Brunch 2017

I know, I know I did it again. It’s been weeks since posting. I am just not sure why I can’t get it together on posting. Well, actually I have 4 really good reasons – Sophia, Isabella, McKayla, and McKenzie. 🙂 Being a mom ALWAYS comes first. But, I must say one of my goals for 2018 is to get back to a more regular blogging schedule I really do miss it.

Okay. let’s talk Santa brunch. This year was our best year yet; no tears, no fear whatsoever. Our girls are getting so big.

These are the memories that will last a lifetime. I know I say this all the time, but experiencing Christmas through their eyes makes it so much more magical. Life is truly amazing. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

Thanksgiving 2017 – Better Late than Never

Year after year we spend thanksgiving in Niagara Falls, New York and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We all look forward to it. It’s one of the few times we get to be with our family from New York and it really is special. I love seeing my girls play with all their cousins; family is everything.

Our girls love sleeping in hotels especially because they get to sleep with their sisters.

We were lucky enough to get to spend Thanksgiving with Oscar, McKayla and McKenzie’s class “pet” turtle. We made sure to take him to the falls, even though it was quite chilly; he was worth it.

We always end our trip with a visit to Uncle Mike’s Dairy Queen and it’s one of our favorite days.

These moments may only last a little bit, but the memories with last forever.

Christmas Tree Cutting 2017

I know I say this all the time, but I sure do I love the stage we are at with our family. Our girls are the best. I am really trying to relish every moment with my girls because they are growing up before my very eyes.

We had a wonderful time with cutting down our Christmas tree this year and it was even better because little Patton joined us for the first time. On the other hand, unfortunately Papa wasn’t feeling well and was unable to join us. I can’t remember the last time we cut down a tree without Papa; I truly think this was a first for us. We missed you Papa!!

When I look back at these pictures I can’t help, but smile. Life is good and it just keeps getting better. Family time is the best time.

Tree cutting day isn’t complete without breakfast and matching sweatshirts.

BBG + Blogliates

Hello, Hello…

I completed another 12 weeks of Bikini Body Guide or better known as BBG, but this time I put my own little twist on it. Workouts are not a one size fits all; find what works for you. Consistency is key to success.

I followed the BBG guide each week, except I only did 1/2 the workout. Meaning I performed two 7 minute rounds instead of the prescribed 4. Once I completed those 2 rounds of the BBG workout I would complete the given workouts from that days blogilates calendar. In the end my entire workout would be about 60 minutes. Pretty simple and kept me from getting bored. When it comes to working out I love to keep things interesting. I have loved these 12 weeks and they sure did kick my booty. I feel strong and energized. I love the variety these workouts have given me.

Sample Workout:

7 minutes:

BBG Circuit 1 (complete as many rounds as possible in 7 minutes)

30 second break

7 minutes:

BBG Circuit 2 (complete as many rounds as possible in 7 minutes)

Complete these videos immediately after finishing 2 rounds of BBG:

Blogilates – Strong Like Wonder Women, Total Body Pilates Workout, Total Body Tone Fest, Total Body Workout Challenge
