Our weekend could not have been any better. Well, it was exactly what I asked for above. 🙂 But, it was pretty close. I had the most perfect weekend with my girls. It was exactly what Mother’s Day is all about!! This was my weekend and I loved it!
Mimi, our girls, and I spent Saturday afternoon with Elsa. It was a wonderful girls day out.  We all had so much fun. All McKenzie wanted were hugs from Elsa; so sweet. Seeing their happy faces is what makes this mama happy, that is truly all I need. When my girls are happy I am happy.
Our girls enjoyed listening Elsa read a story, talking and dancing with her, and so much more. We can’t wait to have lunch with a princess again. After our lunch we had a nice and relaxing afternoon at Mimi and Papa’s house. It was just what we all needed.
Sunday begin a little later then usual I slept in until 7:15 is so much better then 5:00. I woke up to fresh cinnamon rolls and happy girls: their Daddy did a great job. What a beautiful morning.
I can’t even begin to tell you how much I loved my gifts from my girls. These are truly the best gifts a mom could ever ask for.
After we having breakfast and getting dressed we headed to brunch.
I love the way my girls love their Gigi. They are so blessed to be able to really know their great-grandmas the way they do.
Oh Mimi, thank you for all that you are and all that you have always been. You are one amazing women. I truly don’t know what we would do without you. You are irreplaceable and we love you very much. You make our world go around, literally. Our family just doesn’t function as well when you aren’t here. We love you very much and are blessed to have you as such a major part in our lives. You have helped our girls become who they are and we are grateful to you for everything you do for us. We love you Mimi, my mom and my best friend.
What can I say? My girls are my life. Because of them I am who I am. Being a mom has made me a better person. My girls show me what it is to truly love and be loved. They have taught me what life is all about. They keep me grounded and stable. They are my world, my light, my everything. My girls are all I ever I wished for and so much more. I thank God every day for this life he has given me. I am so glad he knew I could do this because I know there have been times I wasn’t so sure, but he believed in me and I am so grateful. My girls make me whole. Motherhood is truly my calling and the greatest gift one could ever receive.
We ended our beautiful day with a BBQ for my mother-in-law, the wonderful women who gave birth and raised such a terrific man. I can’t thank her enough for giving Steve to me. Thank you for all you do for us, your granddaughters love you and so do we. We were grateful to you for ending your day with us. We love you!!
