We had a marvelous weekend; I was able to spend a ton of time with my older girls and the babies. Mommy’s perfect weekend!!

Saturday morning began with their “reward” for good behavior (I will talk about our new behavior system ASAP – I am in love with it and it’s so easy.). The reward they picked was going to the mall to play and shop. Our first stop was the carousel, followed by the toy machines and finally shopping at Children’s Place.

Isabella always gets nervous when the carousel first starts moving. However, Sophia loves everything about it!!

We ended our fun morning in the dressing room at Children’s Place. Yes, both girls wanted to try on all their clothes and let me tell you it was not easy (I was exhausted afterwards). Ha!! But we had so much fun together. I truly love being able to spend time alone with Sophia and Isabella. They are amazing little girls.

Saturday evening we celebrated my Grandma’s (Gigi) birthday. She is such a wonderful and special lady. I loved that she was surrounded by people that love her. The night ended with Sophia and Isabella spending the night at Mimi and Papa’s (this wasn’t planned, but boy were they excited). We left with only two kids; so easy. 🙂 Seriously, we woke up Sunday morning and it was quiet and calm. It’s funny to think two kids no big deal; that’s life with four.

I loved our Sunday morning; we had breakfast and relaxed with McKenzie and McKayla. I love being able to spend one two-on-one time. This weekend was a wonderful mix of me and my older girls, as well as me and my babies. Love all my girls!!

Sunday we took the girls to Pizza Hut for BookIt, a program that gives kids a free personal pizza for reading each month. Steve and I ventured out with our four girls (Oh and don’t forget tired girls) and it was quite the experience. We will not be doing that any time soon. Next time we will order pizza and enjoy it in the quiet craziness of our home. Ha!! We will still celebrate Sophia’s amazing reading, but just not at Pizza Hut.

All Isabella wanted was salad. Oh my Isabella.
