What a weekend we had, Steve has been in Vegas since Friday and comes home tonight. Boy have we missed Daddy.

Spending the night at Mimi and Papa’s house is marvelous. It is so nice being able to decide last minute to sleep at my parents house, they always have our beds/cribs ready to go. Friday night the girls and I had a sleepover there and say Sophia told me that she liked it better without me. Ugh!! That little stinker.

Silly Girls – Their big sisters were doing this, so of course McKenzie and McKayla had to give it a try. Monkey see, monkey do. But, there is a little problem with this picture, the little one is on the bottom. Oh my!!

We left Saturday morning and headed to Niagara Falls, New York to celebrate my grandma and grandpa’s (my dad’s mom and dad) 60th anniversary and my grandma’s birthday. It was a quick trip, but wonderful none-the-less. We really enjoyed seeing all of our aunts, uncles, and cousins and can’t wait to see them again. #familyisthebest

They had a blast running outside at Great Grandma and Grandpa’s house. It felt wonderful to be outside in the sunshine, laughing, and playing. I must our car ride was pretty much perfect; it may have even been perfect, but I hate using that word. (nothing is perfect). We made it in 4 hours and didn’t have to make one stop. Best road trip yet.

Sunday evening we had a terrific girls night. Steve left Friday for Las Vegas (my brother’s bachelor party), he arrives home this evening. We have loved our girl time, but can’t wait to see Daddy. I must say, I am now more then ever ready for our girls trip to Vegas. Seriously, Steve going has made me want it more. Hurry up!!

Tomorrow is our 8th anniversary. Yes, 8 years and 4 daughters later. Wow, a lot has changed since our wedding day, but my love for Steve has done nothing but grown. I love this man more then words can say. He has my heart and we sure make a great couple; if I don’t say so myself. 😉 We seriously make each other better, we are partners for life. I feel so blessed to grow with this amazing man.
