Birthday Celebrations, Father’s Day, and More

I can’t believe June has come to an end, where is our summer going?

We have been loving our relaxing mornings at home and afternoons at the pool. I don’t want these days to end anytime soon. Good thing we don’t have to worry about that for a couple more months.

The birthday celebrations continue….

Isabella loved having her birthday party at the bowling alley with all her friends. We loved celebrating our Isabella.

I made my first, but certainly not last “Nana” cake (for my mother-in-law’s birthday) and it was amazing, it was such a wonderful success. I can’t wait to continuing practicing, but I’m not sure my macros can take it. 🙂

We had such a wonderful time celebrating Gram (Steve’s mom). She always hosts such wonderful birthday celebrations for everyone else and we wanted to do the same for her. Gram deserves it. We are grateful for all she does for us and our girls. Thank you for always being so generous and kind. We love you and we truly enjoyed our time together.

I am still in shock that Sophia turned 8 years old this past Friday. Seriously, where has the time gone. I am not ready for her to grow up. She is such an amazing little girl; I don’t want to let her go into this world. She is smart, kind, caring, loving, and everything else in between. She is also my questioner, debater, over achiever and thinker. She is way beyond her years. I love our night time cuddles together. We have such wonderful deep conversations about life and the world. She makes me a better person. She pushes me in ways I never thought I could be pushes. She pushed me to be better, so better, live better. She is more then we could have ever wished for in a daughter. She is the absolute best big sister of 3 little sisters. She loves taking care of everyone. We love our Sophia more then words can say. I am beyond thankful to God for giving us she a kind hearted little girl.

The girls had their first Mimi and Papa sleepover of the summer; I’m sure there will be more to come.

What would a sleepover be without ice cream and a few carnival rides?

We can’t talk about June without talking about Father’s Day. What can I say my girls are blessed to have Steve as their Daddy. He works incredibly hard for all of us to have this wonderful life. He is the best friend, hubby and dad I could have ever asked for in my life. We love you very much.

Oh my dad, he couldn’t be any better of a man, father, papa, husband and friend. He makes us all want to be better, live better. He is the most generous giving man you will ever meet. He would give his family the world if he could and even though he can’t, he will continue to try day in and day out. My girls are beyond blessed to have him as their papa. I am so glad they can learn about love, life, and family from from an amazing man.

Tucked in with love by their papa…
